SpeechGear is a privately-held profitable corporation based in Northfield, Minnesota, about 40 minutes south of the Twin Cities. The company is currently 100% employee owned, and is not looking for outside investment at this time.

At SpeechGear, we don't want to spend our time -- or our customer’s money -- re-inventing the wheel. If a component that we need for our systems already exists, we partner with the developers to include it in our product line. Likewise, if it doesn’t exist, we invent it.
